There are various account types that can use the API:
Hotelier accounts are bound to a specific property. Each account can only use the API methods enabled for it.
API privileges are not self-service. They are configured exclusively by WebHotelier and cannot be changed by the account holder through the extranet or the API. WebHotelier may grant, limit or revoke privileges at its sole discretion.
Source-bound accounts are restricted to a specific set of properties.
Source-bound accounts automatically store the booking source in cases of a booking. Additionally, all booking engine links returned by the API include a source tracking parameter.
Travel Agent accounts are restricted to a specific set of properties.
API Methods return net pricing. Rates returned are restricted to Retail/B2B and B2B-only rates.
